balkon.   Balconies are designed to be used by many of uses. balcony is not merely a spot connecting exterior and interior but also a space that connects people with life itself. Via QR code, you can access to the video. balconies reflect people lifestyles, habits and uses of space. that is why we as architects can't dictate a specific space but a one that can be customized by user. thanks for paying attention

Stay Balcony Forever Within the scope of the project, efforts have been made to bring balconies, which are gradually decreasing in number and are being closed off or incorporated into the house or used as storage space, back into our lives and to make them actively used dynamism in the facade. The five actual apartment buildings at the edge of an island plot with unused balcony potential were considered without altering their building registration area.                       current situation of corner and cemetery facade and  The floor plans have been redesigned to  allow users to live a life integrated with balconies. Some plans that can be configured according to balcony usage Configurable shading elements were designed for the facades, which change according to the direction the balcony faces. This allows the users themselves to create dynamism in the facade. Thanks for reading 😉Smile, you can still breathing

SUSPENDED GARDENS   A Vertical and Continuous Green Typology in Dense Urban Fabric In this project, the relationship between residential spaces and the public realm is radically re-imagined within one of Istanbul's most densely populated urban morphologies. 'Suspended Gardens' aims to integrate a continuous green spine into the graying periphery of the city by translating the traditional horizontal streetscape into a vertical plane.  The design does not merely consist of five individual buildings sitting adjacent to each other; rather, it functions as a single monolithic green mass on an urban scale, achieved through a continuous and fluid terracing system that interconnects the structures. The core morphology of the design—characterized by outward-protruding balconies and vertical garden axes—is parametrically oriented to minimize the local Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect while maximizing microclimatic comfort for the inhabitants. Street Silhouette and Urban Integratio...

AGRO-HIVE: Scaling Sustainable Privacy Frameworks in the Urban Fabric In contemporary urban design, navigating the boundary between public engagement and domestic intimacy requires fresh typological thinking. AGRO-HIVE addresses this challenge through an architectural ecosystem that fuses urban agriculture with micro-spatial privacy thresholds . Crowned by a lightweight, transparent barrel-vault rooftop structure, the project establishes a vibrant, productive green interface integrated with modular planting zones and passive climate-control workflows . The project's defining feature lies in how it transforms environmental maintenance into a social catalyst. Vertical pergolas installed between balconies provide a robust framework for residential vertical farming . Crucially, the resulting living vegetative layer acts as the primary visual privacy screen between neighboring apartments . Because any neglect in cultivation directly diminishes an occupant's personal privacy, plan...
